Camp Cali Girl was established to provide a fun, safe, and enriching atmosphere for young girls during the summer months. Life in LA can be so hectic for parents and children alike and the founders of CCG understand this and saw a need for girls of today to slow things down and to be given the chance to be...well...,girls—carefree, full of life, and eager for fun and excitement!   Here in Los Angeles, we are so fortunate to have so many wonderful options for fun and entertainment right in our own backyard, but the constraints of work and life are often times obstacles to being able to take our children out to experience these attractions. As parents themselves, our founders were hard pressed to find adequate daycare when the summer time rolled around. Weary of spending large sums of money for day camps that were stagnant in offering only the usual sedentary activities, only to hear the endless claims of “It’s so boring there”, “I want to go to the beach”, Camp Cali Girl was born as a wonderful alternative for parents wanting a worthwhile investment in a camp that will provide their children with the fun and excitement they long for.

Camp Cali Girl offers young girls ages 8-15 the chance to experience the Southern California lifestyle the way it was meant to be spent, care free summer days frolicking at the beach, the excitement of amusement and water parks, the delight of sharing fun filled days bonding with girls their age, forming lifelong friendships and fostering skills and life lesson tools that will assist them in becoming well rounded young ladies. Campers will enjoy socialization in a safe, structured and supervised environment as well as day trips to many local attractions.  Educational and age appropriate seminars will be offered twice per week to focus on self esteem, confidence, etiquette and self image issues under the guise of model makeovers and beginning acting workshops.

As part of Camp Cali Girl's movement towards enriching our world and community as a whole, we offer scholarship opportunities to young girls who may not otherwise be able to attend Camp Cali Girl due to financial hardship and economic situations.  For every ten fully paid camp registrations, Camp Cali Girl sets aside one scholarship for girls who meet our scholarship criteria.  A maximum of three scholarships are available per session in 2008.
